NH State Inspection
Paul's Integrity Auto Repair is a State of NH Inspection station. The State of New Hampshire requires cars and light trucks to be inspected annually, no later than 10 days after the end of the owner's birth month. If you purchase a new vehicle, you have 10 days to get an inspection done after the vehicle is registered. The State of NH allows for an inspection to be performed up to 4 months prior to expiration as long as registration remains valid for the inspection period.
The following items are inspected during the inspection process:
- Valid registration, license plates and vehicle identification number
- Steering, Suspension and front end
- Brakes, parking brake operation
- Odometer and Speedometer
- Electrical system, horn and defroster
- Lights, reflectors, headlight aim
- Glass, glazing and mirrors
- Wiper operation
- Exhaust system
- On-board diagnostics system (OBD) for 1996 or newer vehicles
- Body, chassis(frame) and bumper height
- Fuel system
- Tires and Wheels
